We got a slip n slide today and hooked it right up to the hose. The kids had a BLAST playing in the water. Of course they didn't quite get the whole concept of sliding down on their tummies. Isaiah spent most of his time in the splash pool at the end, splish splashing away. The other two were having fun just running up and down the runner under the tunnel of water, but it was fun anyway. What better way to spend a sunny 92 degree day?
I can see this becoming one of our favorite summer activities. It is so much easier than the pool..lol.

Great idea!! Ella would have a ball on one of those. Where in KS are you? Are you near us? My geography of the state is embarrassingly poor- I never know where we are on the map during tornado warnings! Well, I know general areas, but all the counties are squares so it is hard to pick out the right one. We are in Johnson Co. We should meet up sometime!

Tons of fun. And who cares if he ever really gets the concept of the sliding part? As long as they're getting cooled down and having fun, it works! Yay for them (and you!).
